Some Additional Information..
Christopher..
I gather if you were 'forced' to download the Bradford Persistent Agent (PA), you're enrolled in a College or University. If not, it still may help. Here's something I found at one college. Things may vary at other institutions.
What Does the Bradford Persistent Agent Allow Us to See?
'Beginning with the Fall 2009 semester, St. Mary's College requires that all computers connected to ResNet have the Bradford Persistent Agent installed. This allows us to enforce the new policy requiring operating system updates, plus anti-virus and anti-spyware programs with current definition updates. A number of students have expressed concerns about the extent of the information that the Persistent Agent makes available to network administrators about registered computers. The software does not give us access to your passwords or your personal files and data. It also does not allow us to see your desktop or monitor your activity. Here are screen shots of each of the windows available through the Client Properties interface in Campus Manager.' With the above said, you might want to read a blog from the same college. It offers comments, from some of the students points of view. Look to the right of page, where you'll find two more entries regarding PA. They too offer comments.
I can't vouch for any of it. Only passing on what I found.
Carol
