Avira Antivir Trojan?

I am running Windows XP Home Service pack 3 with COMODO Firewall Pro, Avira Antivir and Spyware Doctor 6.0 starter edition installed, and when I ran a full system scan with Spyware Doctor yesterday, it found 26 counts of Trojan.CDur, and they were all located among various Avira Antivir files. When I removed them, the Avira Antivirus guard stopped working... So today I removed Avira from my machine and ran another full system scan with Spyware Doctor, it was clean. I then re-downloaded Avira from this site, installed it without updating definitions and did yet another full scan with Spyware Doctor... still clean. It was when I updated Avira that I got 3 more counts of Trojan.CDur after yet another scan with Spyware Doctor and here are the locations:
Process
avguard.exe(C:\Program Files\Antivir PersonalEdition Classic\aecorre.dll)
File
C:\Program Files\Avira\Antivir PersonalEdition Classic\aecorre.dll
C:\Program Files\Avira\Antivir PersonalEdition Classic\FAILSAFE\aecorre.dll
Can somebody please verify whether this is a false positive? (I know it sounds like one but I thought I would make sure)
