Bloodhound virus

I have an e-machinew2888 and it runs windows xp. It has been infected by one of the bloodhound viruses. I also have Norton. When I scan for viruses and try to delte,it says delete failed. Can anyone help with this.

Norton AntiVirus (NAV) has the ability to detect unknown viruses of various types using heuristic algorithms known as Bloodhound. This technology was developed by Symantec Security Response.



Type: Virus


If NAV detects a Bloodhound virus, Symantec Security Response recommends the file be submitted for further analysis. For instructions on how to do this, see the document How to submit a file to Symantec Security Response using Scan and Deliver.
