The warning is correct and worth reading but currently, most Internet Service Providers (ISP's) are using their own antivirus scanner which scans every email message that goes through their system. As such, and because the infected message contains an infected attachment, most ISPs are removing it from the system before it ever gets to you and that's why you haven't received it..

In the case of the warning message which warns against opening a UPS related email, it's now become SPAM.. We had one of our office techs send it to about 100 people yesterday.. Not necessary, but they did it anyway. It sounds like you want to do the same.

That's not to say that no one will receive the infected mail message which is being warned against, but many of the old standard types of email viruses simply aren't spread as much as they used to be. Your standard antivirus program should detect and remove it as it loads into your email client. I can't tell you the last time I got an infected message in my email.. Long time............
