I find it absolutely mind boggling how blame is delegated to the innocent,without any accountability by the party(s) who are responsible.

The blame lies with the one who initiated the act,PERIOD

You mean to tell me if I forget to lock my car door and it is stolen it's my fault,I THINK NOT.

The blame lies not in the end users,bbut in the low lifes who commited this act,PERIOD

I have difficulty adhering to such a philosophy in which i blame myself for other people's actions.

I don't know how you can in good conscience hold yourself accountable for someone else's actions.Did you do anything illegal,immoral,or unethical,cause you forgot to lock a door or did not install a program,but yet you find yourself guilty for someone else's actions.

I don't give a flying fig if i forgot to lock a door,forgot to update a program or whatever.The person who commited the act is wholly responsible and no one else,for some reason that simple concept eludes people.

it's the world that complicates and entangles something that is logical,in short,old fashioned common sense.

I am not accountable for someone else's actions,irregaurdless of the circumstances,that person did it,and thats that.

Thats the convoluted logic those Liberal's try to spin and everyone one has to pay the price for it.

If some commits an illegal act,their an adult and know right from wrong PERIOD

This blame game has to stop.I am probally digressing a bit,but I get tired of the legal system playing the blame game.

The fact remains that,just cause someone forgets something,or may be unaware of the situation,by no means transfers guilt to said individual.

Someone breaks into my computer due to lack of protection,or breaks in my home cause i forgot to lock my window is not my fault.The simple fact remains that said individual commited the act.

I was under the impression that your message was conveying no matter what the circumstance's that the victim was partly to blame,which i will never adhere to such a philosophy.as far as i'm concerened thats going off the deep end.

I know.locks only keep honest people out.

I'm not disputing that one should be responsible when it comes to prevention,whether it is the computer or locking up ones valuables.What i'm saying is that the person who commited the act is the one who is 100% responsible.I'm not aiding anyone just cause i forgot or am unable to accomplish this task.If you profess that i'm aiding some perfidious individual just cause i forgot or am unable to accomplish this task,well,i can't buy that.

I don't care how easy it is for someone to do wrong,the fact remains that the person who commited the act is the only one who is responsible.You can't take the approach that the blame is to be shared just cause i did'nt install a spyware program.To make me partly responsible for someone eles's actions is wrong,i am not accountable for other peoples actions.

I'll tell you one thing,and that is that the truth never changes,lies change.The truth is that the one who did the act is the only one who is guilty,whether it be legally,morally,or ethiclly,and thats the truth.

You are talking about the legal system which is not a good guide since it in itself is corrupt,unjust,
unrealible,and on a regular basis goes against the victim.My standpoint was morally,not legally.

So therefore i take another approach and that is to look at it from another platform,is it morally right or wrong.The consensus seems to be that if someone responds to an ad they are partly to blame,that is absolutely absurd.There is a difference between an individual planning an act and someone responding to that act,here it is,you ready to read the difference,it is INTENT,that is the key word (i know,it sounds like legal talk LOL),so the person doing this in INTENDING to jerk you around,rob you.or what ever.How am i doing anything morally wrong by forgetting to lock a door,install a program on the computer,or aswering an ad.Thats why i take that platform.

Point being,if someone premeditates (theirs that legal talk again LOL)they are guilty,not the one who does not
premeditate an act,of course i am speaking about moral
issues not legal issues.

You say that " morally each is responsible for their own actions",which is true,but can't see the connection between morality and failure to implement a program on the computer.

Thoe who who are responsible for spyware are those who benefit or profit from it. Those who are responsible for spyware are those who seek to make money from it...and there are those who do it out of malicious and selfish intent. Either way both are responsible for spyware by making others pay for it.

The people responsible are the end users. When people stop buying the advertisers will go elsewhere.

I agree anyone who purchases from a spam site is mainly at fault. I purchase almost everything from the internet.
But just like I don't talk to anyone who calls me or comes to my door--I purchase from sites that I find and check out, as much as possible. Don't come to me, I'll find you when I want something. I love Google. Use it for work & home.

By the way--sort of went into shock--I live very near Muldrow & Roland, Oklahoma. Way out here in the sticks is one of those crackers!! Of course, I know they're not all in Russia or Nigeria.
