understand the meaning of a budget..........when money is allocated in a budget to go to a specific target, that's where the money is supposed to go. The Pentagon included.....they have their share of the budget allocated to them in the budget, no more, no less....unless a mystery 'credit card' is used and that money gets borrowed from another country. When you have funds allocated via direct taxes for a specific purpose, that money is supposed to be used for that, such as infrastructure, and the list of taxes already earmarked for that purpose is supposed to be being used for that purpose....and there is plenty enough from those alone to pay for that purpose without coming back and wanting twice/triple that amount in more funds.
Instead of, as you suggest, the money being redirected to the military, I would suggest it has been redirected toward more of BO's pet projects.....additional welfare, green crap, etc.
In Hagel's speech about reducing our military two days ago in order to save money....it is ironic/clever planning that BO comes out the very next day and says he needs $300B more for infrastructure.......and who benefits most from infrastructure money? The Unions. In THIS president's priority list, the unions come out on top every time, with our military and their families running in last place.
Since you have proven once again that you don't want a real answer to the question you asked in your first post, I'll end the conversation here, because you are chasing your tail as usual.
