An interesting look at Freedom Works, the folks who gave you

the Tea Party.

The Tea Party was created by a lot of big name Republican movers and shakers, with money from the Cokes and Big Pharma, and Big Insurance.

It was headed by Dick Armey a former RepublicanSpeaker of the House, and Matt Kibbe.

Judging by this article, Armey is the more principled of the two while Kibbe is using Freedom Works as his research and co-writing tool and his source of sales too. In other words he's got his hands in the pockets of a "non-profit" organization which he co-created. In case you are in doubt both of those things are illegal, and both could cost Freedom Works its Non Profit status, as well as pose legal problems for Mr Kibbe and anyone who knew about the corrupt dealings.

Definitely worth a read.

Moveon.org (also having status as a non-profit) is operating illegally and should lose that status as well? Not surprising that you would only find the Conservative side to be operating illegally as a non-profit but not a liberal organization.
