I believe he's referring to an earlier discussion I began on the topic of teaching kids about divorce on TV using puppets. In no way did this have anything to do with exposing anyone to a word. It had to do with pre-exposing them to a concept they may have not yet encountered or may not be psychologically ready for...and with doing so using puppets instead of human faces.

decide to allow teachers to carry in school should in my opinion provide the training and require proficiency achievement.

We assume that every teacher is an heroic teacher (despite the fact that we also call them overpaid leeches) but the fact is that some teachers get to the point where they verbally abuse, restrain and even strike a student in a fit of anger. Put a gun in such a person's hand and I will count down the days till we see a teacher shoot a student.

It's an insane idea, which is probably why the NRA supports it.

this year at the Empire State Building which left 9 innocent bystanders wounded, not all by the arrestees bullets.

Me, I want to be three blocks away before the shooting starts.

There was a story here on SE years ago about a shootout in a jewellery store in LA (i think) where there was an armed store owner, 2 robbers. and three policemen, 27 shots were fired in a small space, and nobody got hit. So much for marksmanship.
