Personally I think Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC is making too much of it, I also resent the Liberal Media pundits breaking the local law to make a story about the very thing they want to institute laws against possesion of. Would not a picture have sufficed?

Liberal breaks gun laws in DC to make the story.


"A section in the D.C. criminal code says "no person in the District
shall possess, sell, or transfer any large capacity ammunition feeding
device regardless of whether the device is attached to a firearm." The
section stipulates that "the term large capacity ammunition feeding
device means a magazine," or similar devices.

Gregory held up what looked like a 30-bullet gun magazine when
interviewing the National Rifle Association's executive vice president
and CEO Wayne LaPierre on Sunday."

The only thing they need to fear about their own security is gun control measures might mean there would be fewer to steal.

They can distribute fact or fiction with virtual impunity. They control the timing of information releases that are used to advance their own agendas as well.

on the reporter would nullify the issue of the easy accessibility of large capacity magazines and Assault weapons. Lewis Carroll and Mr. Facing-Both-Ways would both be proud of your ability to avoid the issue by making it into an attack on somebody else, an assumed liberal.

BTW, all those "liberal" journalists from Bernard Kalb onwards who jumped so quickly from the networks to FoxNews were called "liberals" until the day after they did. Kalb was one of Spiro Agnew/William Safire's Nattering Nabobs of Negativism during the Nixon Administration.

It's the liberal gun control metro police dept in Washington DC that is questioning this. They no doubt would be amused by your describing them as conservative.
