Why would we have heard of it? There's a large number of crimes out there in this country. Have you heard of them all? The reason the Zimmerman matter got the attention it needs, is because an innocent man is charged as if self defence is a crime, and because of politics that upset liberals since it ties into Florida law concerning self defense. Zimmerman is a hostage now in that war of Liberal socialist against law abiding citizens.

Simple to understand; Zimmerman had a good reason for shooting, obviously the driver in above incident didn't, so the latter is not the same sort of situation and pretty "cut and dried" and no reason to "cut more hay" over it. Secondly, it's the news reporters who decide what they will make a big story and what isn't made into a big story. Look at how many stories about Obama they have either passed over or given some brief report in the back of section A in the news papers and moved on from it. Obviously Diane heard of both Florida shootings, so don't really know what she's going on about, but seems to be implying some sort of double standard at work.
