Obama's #1 agenda item should be gun control

So we still have crazy people but make it more difficult for them to buy weapons. We're making more of them every day but, individually, they can't do as much harm? Nice plan. How about finding out what's happening in people's lives that makes them want to kill. Of course there's always the Chicago method of just levying a tax on bullets. Surely that will bring crazy people to their senses.

has partitions between shooters. I've even seen attachments that will catch and bag the brass as it exits the gun, at least for handguns, maybe have them for AR-15's too.

and how many made holes in people, compared to how many made holes in paper targets, one would have to conclude the main purpose of the device is to punch holes into paper targets. It's sort of like baseball bats. The majority of hits by them are on balls, but a few hits might end up on people, but their main purpose, in spite of their other abilities, seem to be hitting balls.

.....as a way of practicing for hitting people with them. The bat is designed to hit balls.

Hitting targets is called target PRACTICE for a reason.

was originally to kill or maim. This includes Olympic events...Javelin throw, archery, hammer throw, fencing and more. People use guns for recreation. Personally, I wouldn't get any jollies from shooting up some old car in a field until it burst into flames but some folks do. Shall we take their guns away just in case someone goes nuts, an accident happens, or they're stolen and used to rob and murder? Doesn't a fast car attract thieves who'd love to joyride at great speed and possibly kill someone? I know the parallel I drew wasn't perfect but I believe it's valid.

I'd be more worried about a plane load of NYC cops trying to stop a perp on a plane. Based on their recent record, they'd probably shoot the pilot, the co-pilot, the navigator, the stewardesses, a few passengers, before finally getting the perp. You'd be better off if it was filled with a bunch of southern rednecks who actually know what "gun control" really means, LOL!!!!

alcoholic beverages and marijuana when we speak about why one is legal and one is not. A person may drink a beer because they like the taste. I don't think anyone smokes marijuana because it's jummy tasting. wink

A Virginia man was arrested Wednesday after police say he brought a 2-by-4-foot board with the words 'High Powered Rifle' written on its side into Sandy Hook Elementary School in the town of Strasburg, MyFoxDC.com reported.

Christopher Johnson, 33, was apparently trying to bring attention to how easy it is to bring a weapon into a school, Scott Proctor, a major at the Shenandoah County Sheriff's office, said. Johnson was reportedly detained by a school resource officer before he was taken into police custody.
