I like beer and willing to take on a good weekend to prove it. though earlier may have shown my prowess on the topic, it's really sad to see some drinkers not buying the old brands or what used to be go to brands or past likes.

I almost found it hard to think Micheolb is in trouble, but it costs too much. i buy cheaper or shall we say, more affordable labels. As long as it doesn't taste bad, why not. I had some bad beers in the past and i really don't like these new ones they're putting. COME ON!! I don't want some freakin' flavor added but plain beer flavor in my beer. I class beer in three types, party, my favorite and fishing beer. Of course, it has to be cold and better when iced. adios -----Willy shocked

I am hoping to land my hands on one or two cases of Alpine Lager Beer.
I live in Whitby Ontario.

If you are planning on driving to the Greater Toronto Area from out East, I can compensate you for picking up the beer and delivering it this way!!

recipe for "lite" or "light" beers

1/2 oz of cheap vodka
1 drop of sunlight dish detergent
1/2 tsp sugar
2 oz of fresh urine
2 oz of real beer
add carbonated water to fill bottle, shake.

clipper city in baltimore

Started by making beer the old fashioned way, pre Prohibition recipes. I like the Gold Ale at times, used to have a nice picture of a Clipper ship on it, maybe still does. Clipper City was bought out and now Heavy Seas? They still have the Clipper types in new labeled bottle, but have started up some odd beers now too. Brewery is just up the road a short distance from me. The Clipper group is best for original flavors and reasonable alcohol content. The Marooned are basically alternate versions of Colt 45 or Schlitz Bull and similar malt liquor beers.

Hmm, miss the "Americanized" Lowenbeau

I understand the beer now is only made in Munich and what was sold here was modified for American taste.

Maybe I've never had a "true" Lowenbeau, but there use to be a pizza place in Greenville that had Loweneau on tap and I enjoyed it.

I haven't seen any for sale since the 80's though.
