And this in the light of Fox calling the Florida results very very early for George W Bush as part of Republican strategy during the Bush vs Gore 2000 election. It is clear that Florida was still not decided after the election was over, and was contested by Democrats and defended by an organized "protest" by "concerned citizens" who all turned out later to have been Washington DC Republican aides and surrogates who had been flown in to create this fake protest.

It's rare to see just desserts land on someone's plate in such a conspicuous fashion. Hey, Karl, bon appetit.

In the end there was never an accurate count done in Florida because the Supreme Court intervened. Bush's margin before the counting was halted by SCOTUS was razor thin, and there were many ballots still outstanding and uncounted at the time of their intervention.

"We've got to be careful about calling things when we have like 991 votes separating the candidates and a quarter of the vote left to count ... Rove was probably sitting in that chair for at least 2 or 3 hours looking at his webpage that he "claims was on a delay", Didn't he get the least bit suspicious when the numbers he was seeing in the previous 2 or 3 hours on HIS webpage weren't matching what he was seeing on FOX News?
