Why would a viable rescue be abandoned?. Because it was too late, as one of Toni's own links says. This isn't downtown New York where you deploy the SWAT team or the HBT or whatever in 12 minutes. They've got to fly over a couple or more hours of desert first and then set up the rescue, during which the hostages have a good chance of being shot. As I read the timeline on other sites, the Ambassador was dead within minutes of the attack. Al Qaeda.don't want to negotiate, they don't want to stick around for a fire fight, they want to kill Americans and fade into the desert or Egypt where one was caught.

Use your brain. You can figure this stuff out as easily as I can.

trail today touting that Al Qaeda has been "decimated"? Are his supporters so unemformed that they will believe him? Even after new emails from Chris Stevens have now surfaced warning of a growing Al Qaeda presence in the region he continues to spout such crap. Someone has gone back through WH transcripts and found where has made this claim, or variation of at least 32 times since the Benghazi terrorist attack. I think he figures the LSM will continue to protect him is why he continues to spew the lie and his followers will not know any better. He is making fools of a lot of people, I do believe.

the only way Obama can win is for conservatives to not vote. Lets hope that millions of republicans and independents who sat out the 2008 election vote this go-round. I believe they will show up and vote.
