When they were talking about writings on a piece of papyrus that Jesus supposedly had written saying "my wife"

Brian said "lucky lady".

I realize it's supposed to be idle banter....but....

yes, it was idle banter.........however, IF it is true, don't you think she WOULD have been a lucky lady?

BTW...back in 'those days'....a 'wife' didn't necessarily have to refer to a 'married' or 'sexual' type of woman relationship....it could easily have also referred to a woman who came in a cleaned and cooked (like a housekeeper).

If I believe what I've been told, and I think Toni's heard the same stories...things don't end well on planet earth for her husband. So why would anyone think she was "lucky"?

"Lucky" would be living a long, healthy and happy life.

I'm trying to figure out why Brian Kilmeade thought Jesus's wife was a "lucky lady".

Jesus, you'd see that he didn't come here with a shield and nor did he promise these to his followers. Rather he had a target on his back and passed those out instead. That's all part of being lucky. Figure that out and get back to me later.
