Speakeasy forum: This would explain Romney not wanting to release his taxes

"Well, I'm not certain"............says Reid (the person who pockets every bill the House sends over rather than let it come up for a vote and then says publicly that the REPUBLICANS block everything, and blames the Tea Party members for that...............THAT Reid????) Yeah, THIS is credible..but only to a blinders-wearing liberal with brown lips. Listening to anything Reid has to say and believing any of it is like watching Pelosi try to move her face while she claims that "Romney only went to Poland to garner the WHITE vote". Are you freaking kidding me?????

Executive Orders and allowing security leaks....why doesn't he just trot one of his underling's butt over to the IRS, whisper in the ear of one of his newly hired agents to pull Romney's last ten years of tax returns and then have somebody leak them to the press? Then claim Executive Privilege illegally for that underling like he did for Holder? I mean, what's a Contempt of Congress charge mean to Chicago thugs?

.....to put additional pressure on Romney.

Two things are true though:

1. He provided several years' worth of tax info to the McCain campaign when he was being vetted as a possible running mate, and McCain chose instead to go with Sarah Palin.

2. His own party, already lukewarm about his candidacy, is calling on him to release his taxes and he still won't do it. That's got to say something.

Obama and Biden, by contrast, have not only released 12 years' worth of returns each but have made them readily available for viewing on the campaign website:

.....is that they made 12 years' worth of their taxes available to the public. If you think either of them cheated on their taxes, then call the IRS.

Reid even admitted to Huffpo that he didn't know if the accusations were true or not.

Face it,the Dems don't care if accusations are true or not,it's all they have.They can't brag about what BO has accomplished because he's a failure.All they can do is attack Romney,throw crap against the wall and hope that it sticks.

You can look for things to get a lot worse too as they get more desparate and Nov approaches.Once Romney announces his VP,you can look forward to the relentless attacks on his pick.

I hope he chooses Rubio,the man is a Boy Scout but I'm willing to bet that charges of graft,bribes,etc will be brought forth to assassinate Marco's character.

I must admit though that I would thoroughly enjoy watching Rubio destroy Biden in the lone VP debate.

He hasn't broken any laws.....he isn't required to produce them....they're as protected and sealed as BO's documents have been. Need some cheese with your whine?

Reid won't name his source....and I can't blame him. It would pretty hard for even his source to prove the claim since how would that source KNOW Romney didn't pay taxes for ten years unless he/she is a tax preparer who works for Bain and has file copies of PRIVATE documents that HE can't legally put out there either. LOL

IF somebody at Bain has copies of Romney's tax returns for ten years, that person would possibly be a tax preparer (or somebody who got into confidential files). Since these files ARE confidential, anybody producing them publicly would be looking at a lot more serious trouble than Romney. They aren't going to jeopardize their entire lives over this issue so don't look for those documents to turn up any time soon.,,,AND IF they did, they could easily be doctored and without originals to compare them with from Romney or the IRS, all the people just itching to bring Romeny down are pissing in the wind.

I can't figure out how come you guys aren't upset over GE not paying any taxes.....and THAT information has been out there for a year already....and Immelt is a lot richer than Romney. Oh wait....Immelt is a Democrat, has most of his jobs created OVERSEAS, is a jobs advisor to BO, is protected by default, and isn't running for president. At least that will be the reason I get, right?

so underlings don't have to justify anything, including Geithner who heads up the Treasury and doesn't pay either along with thousands of postal workers..........tell me again, how well is the IRS doing their jobs and earning their paychecks? And 3500 MORE IRS agents just got added to the payroll. No worries...we can just raise the taxes on the rich (you never disputed my argument how THAT won't work since the middle and lower classes will eat that in the end) and not bother to collect the millions/billions that's actually OWED RIGHT NOW to the Treasury.

and there is no law that says he has to produce anything more than what the law says.

And slanderous lies by a Senate House leader won't make the lie true until Reid or his source can prove otherwise........and that source WOULD be breaking the law if those documents are released by anybody BUT Romney.
