Well, she's my half blood sister but she's my whole sister all the same. ^_^

She takes injections everyday that cost about $200.00 a shot. She was diagnosed when she was 24 after she had her first child, and had to retire from the Army at the age of 26 after being in for 8 years. She is now 32 and goes to the gym everyday. Interestingly enough, women with MS go into remission when the get pregnant, but are almost 100% guaranteed to have an attack after they have a baby.

Another friend of mine has MS. He found out he had it when he was about 38. He felt so weak when he was first diagnosed that he took a year off from work, and took his family for a trip across the US. His insurance wouldn't pay for many of the treatments that were available when he was diagnosed... so he chose an alternative medicine. He started smoking pot daily. He is now 55. He's a nationally known antiques "picker" now, after giving up his office job.

MS is not as bad as many think. Yes... it can put you in a wheel chair, and it can kill you, but it usually is complications related to the disease that will kill most people these days.

Ed announced that he had MS before he broke away with his "Pack". I hope he is doing well up in NH.

Heck, if a similar story was raised about Obama, then it would be portrayed as a national scandal on the most watched news channel in America. Heck, it would become the basis of anti-Obama election commercials.

Sheesh, I saw a conservative pundit say that Dems should be happy with the 2 years of tax records that the Romneys released and that the Dems should quit clamoring for more. Yet, many republicans today, still refuse to accept 4 years of official birth certificates.

BTW... I can't find anything on Snopes, but a meme is going around that Ronald Reagan never had an official government certified birth certificate until after he became president. Anyone know the real poop on this story?

In any event, didn't what they paid for the horse and its care help someone earn a paycheck? Wouldn't that person pay taxes? Of course if that was the case, I suppose we could write that maybe some stable indirectly paid Romney's taxes on that money.

BTW,Neil Cavuto also suffers from MS.He evidently had enough of the media ignorance about this and stuck his head into the middle of the fray recently.
