...in real life she and Andy didn't get along well at all? I think years after the show they resolved some of the differences.

Tribute today on MeTV

If you view MeTV, there will be a tribute of sorts, starting at 12noon. It run thru various shows where he appeared and the 1st show(pilot) of Andy Taylor introduction into TV hall of fame of sorts.

Andy was 86 when he died. As I recall, he did see his good friend(deputy Barney Fife) aka, lady's man Don Knotts a few yrs. back on his death bed. I recall also until illness and such, he still did plays, which got his start many yrs. ago.

It's a sad day. Well, what can one really say at times like these. -----Willy sad
