As Senator, Rubio had already begun writing a bill with Republican AND Democratic support that is pretty similar to what BO just signed. BO couldn't afford politically to have the Republicans pull his Latino vote rug out from under his feet, so once this was brought to his attention, he pulled an Executive Order rabbit out of his hat to deflate the balloon, but instead of doing it legally via the Congressional voting process, he crossed the boundary line again. Unfortunately, even if the Supreme Court gets what will probably be another lawsuit over this decision, the votes will already be cast in November....too late to stop a trainwreck because BO sees this as a losing proposition for Republicans now. If they file a lawsuit or get an injunction, they will be seen as anti-immigration and Rubio's bill won't get the coverage in the media it deserves (it still hasn't even though it's been actively being written for a few weeks already). The people won't realize (because the media will make sure that it doesn't get coverage now) that BO had two years to get his Dream Act passed when he controlled both the House and the Senate and HE chose to concentrate on Obamacare instead of anything else....and when it WAS finally up for a vote, it was defeated. AND the people won't be told by the media that loves BO that 800,000 more people all at one time now looking for work will play with the unemployment numbers in BO's favor, even though none will actually GET jobs because there AREN'T any, but it buys BO time to try and fool them all a second time. Watch how quickly that number goes below 8.2% and it won't be even close to being real.
