exciting trip for a kid.
What a smooth move, That guy's GGOOOOD!!!!
That'll get him the ineligible vote, vote.
Actually, it's the kid's dad who's at fault
for corrupting a minor. He should have been cuffed and led away.
RE: cuffed and led away
you're too generous...he should have be dispatched on the spot.
(NT) should have beEN dispatched on the spot.
No bond hearing?
(NT) NO, we have live video evidence.
Waiting to see how Toni will rip Obama for this
Chris Christie did the same at a town hall meeting recently for a 10-yr old who came to ask him a question. At least that kid was there with a purpose....I can't see any reason for the two kids at BO's function to have been there other than the fact that the parent decided to bring their child.
Let's see, which would be cooler for a kid -- governor of New Jersey, or PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Hmmmmm.......
BO is wayyy cooler...just ask his media
The point being....the kid at Christie's town hall was there specifically to ask him a question because he is interested in politics and community and when he got his answer, the kid then asked for an excuse to get back into school. The kids at BO's function was brought by his parent because the PARENT thought it would be cool to bring the kid and the kid specifically had no purpose for being there other than so the parent could look cool to the kid.
So what if the kid wasn't there to ask a question?
And how do you know the parent only did it "to look cool to the kid?"
If I had a chance to meet the president and could bring my daughter, of course I'd do it. Not to "look cool" to her, but because it would be the chance of a lifetime for her.
Really, Toni. Just admit it was a neat story. You can do it!
A 'neat' story?

Admit that it was also 'neat' that Christie did it, and I'll give you a pass. BO is one president I wouldn't take time away from my garden to see, to be honest, but there's no telling what some will do to get out of work or school, I guess. Come on, Josh...you can do it....say a Republican did something 'cool'.
Sure, it was neat that Christie did it too
I like the guy even if I don't like everything he does or stands for.
Come on now, I did it. You can too.

BO is one president I wouldn't take time away from my garden to see
You're not in your garden now...You can't see him so you'll stay out of the garden to talk about him?
Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. I skipped class to see them. It had nothing to do with the party. They were Presidents.
I saw Reagan's hand once
His motorcade was coming up 6th Avenue in Manhattan and I saw the limo and a hand waving out the partially open window, which I assumed was his. This would have been during his first term.
I also saw Bill Clinton coming out of Blair House, around 1995. He was with a group of people who I can only guess were foreign visitors since that's what Blair House is used for. They crossed the street and entered the White House grounds. Clinton was very tall.
Going to see the President in person is just a ruse
to get out of work or school.
Yeap some will do anything to avoid things they don't want to do.
I like the reader comment below the article....
.....that says Donald Trump has already declared the note to be fake.
I wonder if the teacher will refuse to accept
anything but the original.
(NT) I'd have skipped school to see the President.
I did skip to see a presidential candidate running for

the '68 office. I walked from the university campus to the statehouse. The three running were Nixon, Humphrey and Wallace. The place was crawling with loud youth whom I'll only describe as being attired for the day. The candidate was giving some speech on the steps but between the cheering on one side and booing on the other, I heard not an audibly intelligible sound. That was my first year of voter eligibility and how I was introduced to our electoral process....and it's gone downhill ever since.
A friend of mine won his state's Science Fair and went to

Washington, met LBJ, and was struck by how small Bobby Kennedy was, and ended up walking in the Rose Garden alone with Robert Oppenheimer discussing science and which University to go to. Now that's Coooolllll. He went off to CalTech and studied with and went camping with Richard Feynman among others. He started off in Biology, and ended up in Physics.
