Cheney was no longer with Haliburton and that company was actually qualified to do the jobs they were hired/contracted for. That's one instance you have during the Bush years compared to dozens of BO bundlers in 3-1/2 years....those bundlers have received billions in grants/stimulus/contracts in return for millions in donations. Huge difference. So where is your outrage or does it only swing in one direction?

how many MSM shows or newspapers or online news sites have you seen run the story about the BO bundlers getting all that money? Does it bother you at all that they have received so much only because they bundled donations in the millions to BO's campaign and they were paid back ten-fold?

......what direct link there is between the fact that these companies were donors and their receipt of stimulus money, other than the rantings of the likes of Andrew Breitbart.

Establish that the question you're asking is even legitimate and then I can tell you what I think about it.

Meanwhile (and since YOU brought it up), there was a pretty obvious direct link between Halliburton being awarded no-bid contracts and the fact that their former CEO, and still a major shareholder, was the Vice President.

Toni, I found it interesting that 80% of the grants and loan guarantees in the energy sector were given to companies whose officers were bundlers for or heavy-hitter contributors to Obama's campaign fund raising.

and with the funds that were left over that still haven't been paid out, BO was not only using over $800B in stimulus, he was hitting the TARP funds as if it was stimulus money too.....if it's available, and already budgeted, it WILL be spent rather than be put back by this Administration especially.

This is just another example of free market capitalism, so why do you even mention it? Do you think American companies somehow owe something to the tax payers of the US who kept that company from failing?
