Hot on the heels (or wake?) of Battleship the word is out that movie rights for board games have execs locking down deals.
Next thing you'll see is the Uncle Milton's Ant Farm on the big screen. Wait, that was some 1960 Sci Fi flick? Right.

Odd you should mention this. I just finished reading a book by Mindy Waling, the same person on US version of The Office. She writes that she was called in for some execs metting, face time to see what she thought about "board game movies. She offered suggestions and what have you and was thanked and that was it. Considering all the movies based recently on comic book or pulp magazines, its no wonder that board games provide yet another venue of charcters to come forth and live on the screen.
As for any board bgames that come about into movies, I wish my favorite, Risk makes it. It may have alrady has in various colors of sorts since it can be easily transformed and clalled something else. I think a Bond movie with it injside as part of world domination is clear where that came about. adios from la-la land -----Willy

everytime a different stereotype pops up you clobber it. The winner gets a bucket of fudge ripple or neapolitan ice cream
