If we sell at less than $53 per share, the taxpayer takes a hit of $11B.....and if GM is sitting on $33B, why aren't they either paying back the bailout or buying back their own shares?

BO keeps talking about all the jobs this bailout saved and that GM is hiring back more and more.....but he forgets about all the dealerships that were forced to close putting even more out of work with the trickle-down from those closures such as parts and repair shops.

I never wanted the bailout...I never wanted the Feds to own part of GM....I never wanted BO to force GM into taking on one of his cronies to run it.....I never wanted GM to be forced to close dealerships and put thousands out of work permanently.....I never wanted the UNION to be the beneficiaries of the bailout....I never wanted the Feds to dictate what types of vehicles they should build (the losing VOLT comes to mind) with the bailout....I never wanted the Feds to dictate that new gas mileage requirements that are literally not able to be reached without a tremendous new cost to vehicles that consumers won't be able to afford to purchase. What I wanted was for GM and Chrysler to go into normal bankruptcy and make their OWN decisions on what they needed to do to salvage themselves.

I never wanted the UNION to be the beneficiaries of the bailout.

What do you think these UNION people do with the big money you say they are making....put it in offshore bank accounts?

Asked rhetorically, what sense would it make to put a career politician in charge of the Department of Agriculture rather than someone whose life had been devoted to agribusiness? It would seem that, unless a president is an expert in every possible field, he'd be well off to surround himself with those of proven experience. I believe that most presidents try to find people with some knowledge of the task before asking them to take it on though political favors might also be involved.

He's a cash cow. His personal taxes paid are but a fraction of what the government derives from his invested wealth.

I just saw a column chart showing 0 % death taxes for 2010....you can't get much lower than that...from what I've heard...some would like to keep it that way.

I suppose if there are NO death taxes...you can take it with you?...You don't have to give it away?

Here, we pay Personal Property taxes on things like vehicles, farm equipment, motorcycles, heavy equipment, etc. annually plus Real Estate taxes annually plus interest on savings, investments, etc. annually.....among other things like Sales Tax on purchases. I'm talking as an individual and not a corporation........now homes will be taxed when they are sold in order to pay for Obamacare and the estate tax will be reinstated to an obscene level.

Is go to an Island like Bermuda where it's nice a warm...and die there
