Cops play "Whack-A-Mole" with a dirtbag...........

A news crew filming a completely unrelated interview happened to witness the local police beat the bejeezuz out of a suspect they caught,right in front of them!

They immediately interview witnesses about the use of excessive force by the cops.Typical of the media to open their mouths before they know ALL the facts.Nobody asked what prompted the chase and beatdown?

If it weren't for the fact that the incident that prompted the chase was captured on a cell phone by a witness to it,this jagoff might have had grounds for a law suit.Score one for the good guys!

IMHO,if you're confident/stupid enough to start a fight with a cop and attempt to take his weapon,you deserve a righteous beating or as we call it in these parts: "A nice,refreshing Wood Shampoo". happy

That cell video turns it around and vindicates the cops,especially when you hear the person scream "he's grabbing his gun"!!! Without it,the cops would have had a problem proving their case.

a prisoner turned around and grabbed a deputy's gun and shot and killed him. He got shot by the other deputy but wasn't killed. One of the changes they made was how they brought prisoners in and make sure that the strap is fastened over the gun.

I have a SIL in the sheriff's dept and worry about him.He's in criminal investigations unit which deals with potentionally violent felons on a daily basis.

One of the worst sins is to become complacent and relax your guard for even a split second such as :"I've got court duty and don't need my body armor today".I don't know the facts of that deputy's incident but he has my sympathy.
