If favorable weather conditions at Dulles and JFK coincide,Shuttle Enterprise will be making a low altitude fly over around Manhattan on it's way to JFK between 9:30-11:30 AM Fri.
Our dealer is on a highway facing east towards the Hudson and we can see the west tower of the GWB from our lot.The shuttle will fly up the Hudson past the Intrepid and Statue of Liberty on it's approach to JFK.
We are also on the arrival/departure flight path for JFK/LaGuardia.There's an excellent chance that sucker could fly right over us when it lands.
All the techs in the shop have put the service writers on notice that they will get beatings it we miss the shuttle
The writers are in the front of the dealer and face due-east,looking at the NYC skyline. They WILL announce over the PA the second the shuttle is spotted.

Our writers more or less stare out the windows when there's nothing to do which has become all to common these past few months. ![]()
One of our writers even saw "Capt Sully" when he departed LaGuardia in '09,whose departure path also comes over us.

"Hey Tony,I saw an Airbus departing Laguardia before and it made an awful stupid looking turn due south towards the Bridge".Little did we know....
