Once a charge is laid, *Innocence* is a product of legal
process, not a word to be thrown around as loosely as somebody here routinely does.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The Police Investigation, and its results will determine the case. If the police botched the investigation as looks possible verging on probable, then Mr Zimmerman may be the O.J.Simpson of Florida where, if memory serves, Simpson now lives.
Talk about living in fear of your life. A kid goes to the store, buys two items, and is then followed by a man in his ?SUV who then jumps out of the vehicle with a gun in his hand despite repeated police requests that he not pursue the young man. Now if I were that young man, and somebody did that to me, and I was armed, I'd Stand My Ground and put 4 rounds in his chest.
I notice that the Police tape bleeped out a word used by Mr. Zimmerman several times. Either the "n" word or the "f" word would fit, and that too may be the difference between his getting off but not being innocent, and being charged with racially motivated homicide, a hate crime.
It is my opinion that Fox News is carrying on a racially motivated attempt to exonerate the man before trial, and to poison the well of potential jurors and whip up racial animus as great or greater than that of the Reverend Al Sharpton.
