I also looked at the enhanced video of his arrival at the police station and there's something about the collar that doesn't look right. In the bloody head shot, it's too neat with pronounced beading. In the video, the collar appears to be wrinkled a bit and perhaps larger. I'm not an expert but only considering how I'd feel as a jurist looking at this photo. If the police at the scene would confirm the wounds, it would be more believable.

If it's from a cell phone flash, the color temp could be all wrong. Even the skin tones are way off on this and that could be poor light distribution from he flash. I thought that the rivulets of blood going in opposite directions was suspicious. As well, there seems to be a straight horizontal line at the top that's too well defined. It could look more like a Hollywood makeup job. I'm noticing that the blood on the right side does appear to have a wound source. It could be real but, if I was on a jury panel, I'd want more than the faceless picture.

Especially if new such as in a new development area. Some can have sharp edges left on them and in straight lines, just like that. Properly they should be ground down, but what I've seen around here is some really sloppy finishing work where new subdivisions have gone in. Usually such sharp edge lines are along the perimeter where someone used a shaping tool.

Without proper smoothing, and sometimes finish grinding on "fins" that might be left, the concrete can easily have sharp edges that make knife like cuts. Since it was two straight lines, that could be right where an expansion joint had been installed into the concrete sidewalk.

The photo was taken with an IPhone,imbedded data on the phone will show the date it was taken and if it was tampered with.Obviously taken before the medics cleaned him up.The police did make note of his injuries,it was on pg3 of the police report I linked to in another thread.

He may have also incurred powder burns. In fact, if they were that close and the gun was pushed into his gut, or between their bodies but facing his way when it was fired, then Trayvon may also had the gunfire pass into him following the bullet penetration which would quickly cook that entry area with a high injury. The funeral director didn't mention such an injury, so it's possible the clothing Trayvon and Zimmerman were wearing was sufficient to keep the fiery muzzle blast outside the body. Eventually we will probably get to see the burn marks on the clothing which will determine the approximate distance between the gun and the perp.

a witness who was there confirmed he'd also seen powder burns on Trayvon's clothing at least.

If there's any change in that condition, I suspect we will be told.

You've declared him Innocent (which No Jury does...He'll be found Guilty OR Not Guilty) AND you've already got him OUT on Bail...He's STILL IN CUSTODY.

Where did you see that Zimmerman jumped out of his vehicle with his gun in his hand? That's one I haven't heard before. Your opinion about Fox I find to be curious, considering other another network got caught fabricating audio "evidence" in an editing booth and had to apologize for it. Another retracted their "analysis" and claim about words used on the 911 tapes.

I wonder how he's getting along, destitute as he is, or at least as he proved to the court.

I'm guilty of imagining that he was following a suspicious character with his gun drawn. That was a step too far.

Nevertheless the tape while edited showed that he was told at least twice not to follow Mr. Martin, and that his reply was "These bleepers always get away with stuff." Plus a second statement to the same effect followed by "Sir, are you out of your vehicle? Garbled. Sir, we do not need you to do that." A simple "Stop what you're doing and return to your vehicle and wait for the police", might have averted the whole thing, but the Police carry a heavy load, and I am not blaming them. The root and branch of this issue is a dreadfully stupid law.
ln my opinion if the crime occurred more than 20 feet from the guy's car, he was following and not "Standing His Ground", which is what I thought the law was supposed to be about.

I blame the media presentation. It's been skewed terribly in both countries. "Skewed" is the kinder term for what some of the media has done. I guess the worst was the MSNBC editing of the police call tape. They claimed it wasn't deliberately done to make Zimmerman look bad, but instead to shorten the time, but honestly it's mere couple seconds to give the actual tape. I can't believe there was more to it than inadvertent editing on their part.

What got me pissed off most was the blantant race hustling that started from this. All the references to Emmet Till, the "whitening" of Zimmerman as if that should have ANY effect on whether the shooting was justified or not, the police reports earlier on Zimmerman minus the troubles Trayvon had been in. While smoking some pot may not be so bad in most eyes, few know the problem Zimmerman had with the police he supposedly "attacked" was because it was an undercover person he came upon attacking a friend of his. Once he knew it was the police he backed off, but the officer pissed at any interference had him charged at first and then the charges were reduced and maybe should have been dropped. If I had a friend being attacked and I didn't realize it was a police officer trying to arrest him, I'd likely come to his aid also.

It was almost immediately stacked up against Zimmerman. Add to that an Attorney General at the DOJ who refuses to prosecute blacks threatening white voters during the presidential election, because it was to Obama's benefit, then refused to arrest New Black Panthers on a bounty against Zimmerman which besides being criminal was clearly a violation of Zimmerman's civil rights, while at the same time Eric Holder is moving a civil rights investigation of Zimmerman.

This was a high tech lynching in progress, and we still may not have seen the end of it.

I'm glad there will be a trial now because I can only see it as the best chance Zimmerman has to exonerate his actions that night and not have it hanging over him the rest of his life. I don't think it's right he has to face that, but if he wins, it means he won't have to worry about it ever again.

Perhaps they should be looking for that missing dark matter in your universe, because it certainly seems to interfere with, or tunnel your vision. And this from a guy with glaucoma (me).
