Speakeasy forum: Rush Limbaugh outdoes himself

I saw the Limbaugh piece the other day and there's also one from Glenn Beck. I thought it best to jump on something more realistic so thanks for being a bit tardy with this. What happens now is the story becomes about Rush and not Ms. Fluke's issue with Georgetown U. The same would go for Beck. When one sees these pieces first, I think they could help make a hero...or is that heroine...out of Ms. Fluke. It would play right into her hands and strengthen her support. It's not in what said, but how it's said sometimes. Limbaugh thinks Ms. Fluke has no right to expect Georgetown U to provide BC in its insurance coverage. I agree with that as well but it's really difficult to find oneself agreeing with an idiot.

It's easier to complain about someone/some party than it is to find good things to say about the party in power.

Wouldn't it be something if this is what finally does Rush Limbaugh in. At the very least, he has done considerable damage to his party's side of the benefits/contraception issue. More than that, and as you noted, he's come off as a bully, a boor and a generally gross and disgusting human being, which is what many of us thought of him all along.

Still waiting for members of his party to denounce what he said and start distancing themselves from him and his hate.

How is this a "hate message"? Although his choice of words could have been better--how does it change the truth about Sandra? She is asking you to pay for her sexual escapades. Do you like that?

That female birth control is different from Viagra? You don't take it once and then it's done. Viagra is no BC for that matter.
And Rush has been in four relationships without making a kid...

HOW do you know that?

The fact that Rush has had four relationships without 'making a kid' just goes to show that out of pocket purchases for condoms and/or birth control pills has been a CHOICE made between the partners....his or her religion was kept out of that decision making, and rightly so.

it's the CHURCH's right via our Constitution. She is going to a Catholic school almost for free, with Catholic insurance....she can go to Planned Parenthood and get what she wants for free.

that's also kind of true.....a church is a sanctuary and police aren't allowed to enter and remove someone, a priest cannot devulge what he's told in a confessional even if it's a crime, and I'm sure there are other instances.

It's not for 'convenience' as you put it....it's in our Constitution, and put there by our Founding Fathers for a reason.....and being debated and challenged right now.
