how to delete daily weather report on my Outlook

I run Outlook 2007 on my Win 7 PC. Recently the weather started showing up on my calendar. It shows the current day and the next three. And the temp is in Celsius. I live in California so I use Fahrenheit. And it updates daily.

I can't figure out where it comes from. I'm guessing some email type message. But I can't find it.

I want to delete it!

Any ideas or solutions will be appreciated. Thanks.

My Outlook doesn't do this, so it must be something you installed yourself. So why not uninstall?

Check the Outlook add-ons (likely) and Control Panel (less likely).

Kees,

I've never heard of Outlook add-ins! So I Googled the term and found instructions on how to go to Tools and and check your Add-ins on the program.

It is hard to understand what the add-ins really do, but I found one that was called "MS Office SharePoint Server Colleague Import Add-in". So I disabled it. Restarted Outlook and the weather is gone!!! I hope for good!

Thank you so much. For the last year, I've asked so many people about this weather info annoyance. . . even some PC experts. And no one had any idea how to get rid of it.

http://keynotesupport.blogspot.nl/2010/05/improve-load-time-and-performance-of.html says what it is. Maybe one of your colleagues puts the weather in his calendar and then this add-on imports it in your calendar?

Your IT staffer should have been able to solve this for you. But I'm glad to see that we could help also.
