VLOOKUP & IF Formula

How can I create a formula that will look at two cells (one of the cells will always have N/A) and return the value of the cell that has data entered other than N/A.

Example: Cell A2 has E05 entered and Cell A4 has N/A. I want my formula to be able to determine that Cell A2 has data and return E05. Or visa versa, Cell A2 has N/A and Cell A4 has NE4, so the forumla would return NE4.

Please assist.

I was able to resolve my error:

IF(A2="N/A",A4,A2)
