Software to track car-lift time in shop?

Is there any software that tracks how long a car stays lifted on a shop lift or software that does a similar job? So far, all I've seen are programs for billiards and the like. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

But as that's all you asked for, you newer software programmers could generate such in a few days.

I'm big on embedded computing so I can see this with a switch that detects the lift is up or down and that is sent to the computer and at some point you need to get a look at the car on the lift. Your average mechanic may not be too keen to tap the car job number in so maybe a netbook webcam that runs that app will take a few pictures at some timed interval as the switch changes state?

Sounds fun.

Yeah, I have been looking around for time keeping software that would be compatible with an auto shop like I explained before. It's rough going. There isn't really a market for such specific software so it is quite difficult to find. I have resorted to trying to use a similar program.
