Convert Works to Office 2010 in Windows 7?!?!

Hello,

I'm running Office 2010 on Windows 7, but I have a whole bunch of early Microsoft Works spreadsheets that I would really like to convert to the .xls format....

I'm at a loss because every conversion ability I found only goes up to Windows XP and every service pack available to do so is not compatable....

Do I need to purchase Office 2003 to convert?!

Thanks for your response. I tried these methods, and none of them worked... still getting garbled info when I open the file, even if it's been "converted" to .xls. I can see that the data is there, just crazy formatting.

Then we need Works.

Try the old method where you save it in Works as XLS or other formats.
