The file needs to be printed in PDF and on the printer at the same time.
So far, no system mandates or does this.

It sounds like something you could put out to bid for a bounty.
http://www.fossfactory.org/ is one of such sites.
But it's YOUR specification. So you may have to pay for this to happen.
Can you reveal why this happened before you found a solution?

It's actually for my store. I have all the credit card payment invoices' printed out. the problem is finding one piece of paper. Search and storage is easier on PDF

But why must it be simultaneously? Won't the usual 2 step method work for most of us?

Could Print to PDF then Print the PDF. But it has to be done automatically.
And can't do it in 2 steps cause cahier operators aren't the brightest peas in pod :/
Now that changes everything.

You'll want it integrated into the POS system.
If this is on Windows you may have to get some company like http://www.pdf995.com/download.html to tailor this to YOUR SYSTEM. It shouldn't be too bad. Figure 100K or less USD.
