Text Wrapping Footnotes

Hi!
In Microsoft Word (versions 2003, 2007, 2010) there is the option, when inserting a picture, of text wrapping, to align the text around the picture. It gives different options: tight, square etc.
However, in the footnotes, no matter what you set it at, it makes no difference, and the image will always be put behind the text. Is there any way to get the footnote text to wrap around an image in MS Word?

Yes but not as a footnote.

A long time ago I needed something like that so I ditched footnotes and put it in as text in the body and tinkered till it was just right. Later someone tried to re-create the same thing but lost a few weeks (until they asked me how I did it in that document.)

Word is not strong at type setting so workarounds are very common. Another old trick I used involved sending the paper through the printer 2 times. The next person that tried to recreate that document lost a month (until they asked.)
