Lotus Notes email format problem

I use Lotus Notes for emailing at work, and every so often, I accidentally hit a key or key combination that causes the long email I have just typed to be compressed to the far left 1cm of the screen, and now hundreds of lines / pages.

I can't figure out how I am doing this and I can't figure out how to undo it either.

Does any one have any clues ?

I don't know Lotus Notes, so just a question: does it have a general undo (like ctrl-Z in almost all Windows programs)?
