I used DoPDF to print it to a PDF and then printed it to scale. Seems to be a work around and nothing more.

Hi
First you need to go to print then select the printer you wish to print to. Right next to that is the 'Print Properties' tab. Click it and it will have an option to scale page to size of paper. In Printer Properties click on the 'Features' tab then below the resizing options click 'scale to paper size'.

scale to size does not work in Word 2010

I recently got Word 2010 at work and using the scale to size function in the print box does not work. There are two ways to tell the program to print to scale and neither works. There might be a setting that must be changed in order to to allow the print to scale function to work, but this is certainly not as straightforward in Word 2010 as it was in Word 2003, and in my experience is not possible. The obvious setting, which RobertAThompson directs to, does not work on my computer and apparently does not work on others' computers either. I could and often did use the print to scale function in Word 2003 but in Word 2010 I cannot make this function work, even though I located both (alternative?) places to choose this option, and did choose this option. (the settings I found are: print/printer properties/effects/resizing options, and print/settings/scale to paper size (under the bottom drop down menu in the Print window-"1 page per sheet" is the default choice in this menu). The print preview display does not change, and the actual printout does not print to scale. It prints at the regular size on the smaller paper, and whatever doesn't fit gets cut off. Extremely frustrating-thanks a lot, Bill Gates and Microsoft!
