Office & productivity software forum: inserting an image into an Excel cell

I followed the link, and I didn't find any actual instructions on how to anchor the image to the cell. No command sequence within MS Excel.

In fact, as I read the original question (in the link you provided) it sounded like the author was detailing the same kind of problem I am having. Which is, the image overlays the cell, but it is not actually "in" the cell. Therefore, when the cell is resized the image does NOT respond in kind; the image is not anchored to the boundaries of the cells. (The image behaves sort of like a post-it note, just sitting on top of the spreadsheet.)

So, unless I am missing something, it's the whole "how to anchor the image" question all over again. I've searched Microsoft's Help for "anchor" and "insert image", and I haven't found anything about inserting an image into a cell.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
