Need to completely uninstall Office 2007

I uninstalled Office 2007 because I hated Word. (It's a program I use a lot and it had too many bugs.) I reinstalled Office XP. Someone on the forum told me it had not completely uninstalled because of another problem I had. It stopped happening, so I didn't do anything.
Outlook has not worked since I did this. After spending a couple of hours trying to figure out what is wrong, I was redirected to a Microsoft site that says Outlook 2007 and another version on the same machine will cause it to crash.
Office 2007 does not appear in my "add/remove programs" list. How else can you remove a program that doesn't show?
I wouldn't mind having the other programs on Office 2007. Can I install all of it except Word and use my Word XP?
Just my 2 cents worth, but there was not one change that Microsoft made to Word that helped it. They just made it harder to use and it takes more steps to do everything. They put in a bunch of junk that does not belong in a word processing program. With all that junk in there, why would I need Publisher?
