Uninstall Microsoft Office 2000 - no CD's

I had work done on my computer a year ago and the guy that did the work put his Microsoft Office 2000 on my computer. I have Microsoft Office 97 installed already and he thought he was doing me a favor by putting a newer version on my computer. I have since upgraded from Windows Me to XP and need to get rid of the Microsoft Office 2000 as it doesn't work since upgrading. I can't uninstall it because I don't have the CD's. Is there any way to get rid of this version without the CD's? I realize that I could probably contact this gentleman and get the CD's but would prefer not to if possible.

if the Office Removal Wizard does do what it pretends to do without bothering about the original CD. It's on the Office 2003 CD, but you can download the Office Resource Kit that contains it from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011401771033.aspx

Kees,

I downloaded the uninstall and it still won't uninstall without the CD's. It will remove my Office 97 without the CD's but not the Office 2000.

Any other suggestions?
