win 2000 - where are the passwords stored?

I use a desktop in my office, a notebook in another office and another notebook in my home. I am constantly frustrated with going from one pc to another and not having the data or apps I want set up on it, or - a bigger problem - not having the same bookmarks or passwords on them all.

I have a 250 gb external hard drive that I would like to carry with me from pc to pc so that I can mitigate/eliminate that problem.

I have win 2000 on 2 of my pcs. Is there anyway I can get win 2000 to save all of the passwords for programs, websites, etc on this external hard drive? I have tried googling to answer this question but get too much interference.

What passwords?

We have the Windows OS account passwords and today we might have discussions about passwords on WEB PAGES and APPLICATIONS but your post needs work. Tell EXACTLY what passwords you need to sync.
