Goodbye Windows 2000.

Last Sunday was the last boot on our last Windows 2000 machine. While many will want to continue running it I had to move on. None of my customers use it any longer.
Why do I share this? Because any answer will now be based on memories and what we can google. I urge you to do your research first and learn how to reinstall this OLD OS if must keep running it.
And for the love of your machine, please avoid use of the old IE/OE since it's still the easiest path for those pests to get onto your machine.
In closing, don't connect your freshly installed Windows NT or 2000 machine to the internet without a firewall. Instant lessons about data recovery or other lessons you don't want.
