how to enable usb without bios?

hi all happy

this is the thing in pref . i want to enable usb keyboard and mouse from dos without logging into dos because i cant inter dos thats it .

the main mother board is msi MS-7236 (945PL Neo) bios Ver. 5.2

i cant log into bios my ps/2 keyboard isn't working and usb don't work in dos because it isn't enable..

i want to enable usb from bios options without logging into bios like editing the bios update file and than update the bios from windows can that happened? or any other way ?

The machine in question needs repair. I'd look at trying another PS2 keyboard and then the common F1 Keyboard fuse.

But this means that you didn't understand the content. The words I wrote do find articles about that fuse. Don't worry about it. Not everyone operates multimeters or has a solder iron. Find a technician to check the keyboard fuse on the motherboard and try other PS2 keyboards.

- Did you try another PS/2 keyboard? That works in 90% of the cases. You don't really tell if you did.
- If it doesn't work, that fuse needs to be replaced. If the google hits don't have the information to let you do that yourself, find a qualified tech to do it. That should work in 9% of the cases.
- In the remaining 1% the whole motherboard (or the whole PC) needs to be replaced.

Page 5 of http://people.richland.edu/dkirby/mbdfaults.pdf calls this out again.

Sorry but it's a common problem I encountered since The IBM PC (the one with the 8088) came out.
