Windows 2000/NT forum: File access denied

File access denied

I have backup'd my contacts from Outlook at work. We are using 2000 Professional. I do not have Admin access. When I took the backup file on floppy home and load on Outlook there I get file access denied. Any way around that?

Without the gory details, I can only guess. My bad guess is the file with the contacts is read-only.

No, I am less then a novice. Can I change that status in the original file and save it again?

Or you can change it on the floppy? It's just a "property" of right-click-properties.
