but had you taken the time to read it you would see that I was referring to the WINDOWS virus's that would attack the WINDOWS side. When the Mac is booted into WINDOWS, it is a vulnerable to WINDOWS virus's as any other machine that is running WINDOWS.
The virus's are NOT on OS X, they are on WINDOWS.

Pete, I was posting back to Grif Thomas tonight on the Virus and Security Alerts Forum. I asked Grif if had a chance to visit your post and comment on the Mac running Windows and the possibility of having Virus using Windows on the Mac. I hope he does post to you.

Go back and read it and you should be able to see where veer off the logical.
You claim that Mac users should not use P2P now that they have the capability to boot into Windows.

Once again. Windows virus's do NOT attack the Mac. They don't attack Dell, Gateway, Compaq or any other box. They attack WINDOWS.

P2P works on OS X and the Windows virus's do not affect it.
Intel do NOT have a multi OS system.
You seem to believe that every Mac user will now go out and buy a copy of XP and install it on their machine. Did you ever wonder why they got a Mac in the first place?
A very large percentage of current Mac users will NOT be using Windows on their Mac and will not consider themselves to be deficient in any way. Everything I need to do, I can.

You got my attention. Does that mean something or is that your subtle way of indicating that the whole Intel processor thing is a conspiracy by Apple, Intel, All software developers, to prevent piracy by telling Mac users not to use P2P. That was a rhetorical question, no need to answer.

Anyhow, it seems like she will not let it go and quotes from CDNET.
Pete, if I wanted to run the latest version of Windows, I would purchase a PC for my wife.
Grif T. sent me info last month on a great buy from a PC manufacturer loaded with Windows XP for about $400.
Why would I want to purchase a new Mac with an Intel Dual Processor and spend additional money for a full version of Windows to boot?
Does not make any sense to me at all.

Anyone out there know why when I do a close quote command after LOST IN SPACE, (Command/Option/Back Bracket) I loose the screen from CNET!???
Drives me up a wall when this happens. Lucky tonight to get it back with the forward arrow on this screen (About 4 or 5 times.) Usually I loose my total post. Maybe after a dozen times with this happening I am just trying new ways to get back to my post.
Anyone smart out there to advise me on this continuing problem!?
I never knew there were command keys to get you backward to a post.
Anyone know of other key commands on CNET??
