iMessage messages only show up on iPhone and iPad, but not M

I am having some serious troubles on my Mac with iMessages not showing up on my Mac, but working fine on my iPhone and my iPad. I am on 10.8.2 on my MacPro (and yes I have a serial number on my mac, so that is not the issue).
I have tried removing my account and re-adding it, and all my devices do show all the e-mails and phone number that I can use, but still when I type a message on my Mac it just disappears, not even showing up on it's screen, nor anyplace else. And when I get iMessages, they show up on my other devices, and iMessage opens on my my mac (so it knows it is getting a message) but displays nothing.
I tried deleting the following files to get messages to work, but to no avail.

And when I try and send a message, I get the following message in the console.
3/6/13 8:05:29.951 AM Messages[1990]: [Warning] Updating typing guid on IMMessage from A2C3A7B2-EEEB-4C08-B783-48C6E2F0AE88 to 083082AD-5F99-4449-8419-D7AE0089B069
I have also tried using Pacifist to extract a second copy of Messages 7.0.1, and ran it, but it has the same problem, so it is not a problem within the application itself.
I have run diskwarrior multiple times, as well as TechTool Pro and repaired permissions many times, but none of that has done anything.
Does anyone have any ideas to try and get this working.
For now I have disabled iMessages so Messages stops opening to not show me a message!
