Upgrading 10.4.11 macbook software?

Hi,

I have an old white Macbook, and I want to upgrade it to the same software that I run on my other mac (Mountain Lion). Is this possible? If not, what's the highest software I can upgrade to, and how do I go about doing this?

Model Name: MacBook
Processor Name: Intel Core Duo
Memory: 2GB

Lion - 10.7 is the highest you can go.

10.5 Leopard or, possibly, 10.6 Snow Leopard

Maxing out the RAM, up from 2GB, would also give you an improvement in performance.
