Can anyone help me get rid of text data following my curser.

On my iMac7 I have just found an issue with an image following my curser all over the screen. It looks like 7 columns of 4 lines of 1 point bitmap text. I have zapped the P ram, repaired disc permissions, tried different mice, searched the net for info and all without success. It seems to have happened after I tried MacKeeper and OnyX to tidy up the OS. OnyX is new to me so could this have altered spmehting. Has anyone else had this problem?
