Safari 5.0 vs script "Autocomplete Always On!"

Autocomplete Always on! does not work for me after implementing Safari 5.0.

I ran the script again and reloaded Safari but does not seem to work.

Anybody else has the same problem ? Thank you!

Give it time. Safari 5.0 just landed a couple days ago, and it'll take some time for some of the unofficial addons to catch up.

I just noticed the same thing, so it's not just you.

It's very surprising that it needs to be updated for the new version. The script is really simple, it searches for all instances of "autocomplete" in the WebCore framework binary, and changes the "a" to "x". It's never needed an update before.

Hopefully he'll figure out how the new version gets around this soon.

Thank you barmar confirming that the bug is not on my side. We never know... You're perfectly right. The script is very simple but something has changed within the code in Safari 5.

Very annoying and a lost of time for me to enter many times a day that information. Seems that the script was written in 2006 and no modification after that. I did not find any reference to the person who has written it.

Script method will no longer work due to Safari 5 changes, but there's a new extension that makes it work in an easier fashion.
