Quicktime problem in Safari

I'm running completely up-to-date OS X 10.6.3 , Safari 4.0.5, etc. Some sites will not load or play QT movies. The same sites work perfectly in Firefox. One possibility: could the new Java update have screwed something up? Here's one site that didn't work for me: <http://www.theforgottentechnology.com/>. I click the photo to enter the site and get only the QT logo instead of the video. YouTube works OK and so do embedded YouTube videos on the sites I've checked. Suggestions?

I have not updated Java, yet, and all I get is the QT Logo.

Contact the site owner/webmaster, the problem lies with them

I have the same issue in Safari but NOT with Firefox; the QT video plays perfectly well in Firefox but not in Safari 4.0.5 with latest Java update (OS X 10.6.3 MBP 2.4 GHz).
