Accessing a Mac shared printer from Windows

I have a network consisting of three Macs and a PC running Windows XP. One of my printers (a Canon Pixma MP830) is USB-connected to one of the Macs with sharing turned on. Thus, I am able to print to this device from any of the Macs. How can I access this shared printer from the Windows device? I can't determine an IP address because the printer doesn't have one. Thanks

Try Bonjour for Windows*.

If that does not work then try the SMB/CIFS procedure explained on this page:

Bonjour doesn't work

I tried the Bonjour route as well earlier. While the Mac side sees the printer in Bonjour, Windows Bonjour does not. I'll try the SMB/CIFS procedure next.

A lot of the following article means very little to me because I don't have a Windows XP computer but it could provide the 'bingo' idea for you:

If you search the website using 'Macintosh Windows Network' then at least one other (similar) article will be returned. It is '10 things you should know about connecting Macintosh OS X systems to Windows networks' but that also might provide the missing link.
