Cowan A2 MP 3/Video Player

Has anyone used this player with the Mac, any issues etc? seems like a great alternative to the ubiquitous iPod range.

Rather than leave you dangling out here with no responses, I thought I would at least acknowledge that I heard you.
Your question did not exactly invite comment from anyone other than a Mac user with a Cowan device.
I did a Google search for the device and followed a few links to various forums and found that while a lot of people say it is a good device, nobody seems to own one. They are basing their answers on the manufacturers spec sheets.
It will play a whole bunch of formats, including WMV and WMA(Protected), but will NOT play any track that has been purchased from the iTunes Music Store. I did not see any reference to it being able to play AAC (MP4) either so if you have any tracks in your iTunes library, they will need to be converted to something that the Cowan can support.

Thanks for the input, there does seem to be too many firmware updates for the reviewers to give a definitive opinion of it.Think I'll just hold off buying for a while see how it gets accepted.Thanks again
